Use of personal data
The user is the only one responsible for the veracity and correctness of the personal data provided automatically through the Web Platform; e-xiliad@s and its team disclaim any responsibilities on this regard (Reglamento (UE) 2016/679 del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, de 27 de abril de 2016, relativo a la protección de las personas físicas en lo que respecta al tratamiento de datos personales y a la libre circulación de estos datos y por el que se deroga la Directiva 95/46/CE).
In the case of incongruities or fabrications encountered during the data processing, the Web Administrator will contact the person in charge of the data and will then decide, at his/her own discretion, whether to include or not the information to the website.
Similarly, the Administrator is by no means compelled to use the data provided.
The users’ data will form part of a file owned by e-xiliad@s and therefore will be treated with confidentiality, according to the Ley Orgánica 3/2018 of 5th December 2018 on Protection of Personal Data of Spanish State.
The interested party may exercise their rights included in the General Data Protection Regulation mentioned above: Reglamento (UE) 2016/679 del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo, de 27 de abril de 2016.
By sharing personal data, the user authorises their processing at the hand of e-xiliad@s for the following purposes: establish contacts with the contributor, anonymously use the data for the elaboration of periodical reports; contribute to the layers within the Map and other possible future sections; as well as any research or dissemination activity. Furthermore, if the user renounces to the right to the anonymity, the information given will be automatically available to the use in the “Biographies” section and in any other sections or related website that the Administrator can develop in the future. Under no circumstances, e-xiliad@s will share the data with a third part.
The user will be able at any moment to access his/her Personal Area to add, edit or cancel any of the data previously inserted. In the case of problems encountered concerning this matter, please contact the Web Administrator at the following address: info@exiliadosrepublicanos.info. Only the user and the Web Administrator will have free access to the Personal Area.
The reports periodically elaborated will reflect only the information present in the Database at the time of their publication; potential changes to the data made by the users will only concern future reports and by no means will modify texts already published.
